APPLICATION PROCEDURES (We do not accept resumes/applications unless there is a posted, open position).
Housing Kitsap recruits to fill vacant positions as they occur from qualified applicants who have met job requirements and passed applicable tests. Every selection process includes a series of examinations and/or interviews that must be passed before an applicant can be considered for hire. The following information is provided to assist you in understanding our employment process.

 

Job Announcement & Application form
For each position advertised, a job announcement and application is provided. It is important that you review the job announcement carefully to determine if you meet the minimum qualifications before completing the application packet.

 

All application packets must be received no later than the job closing date. 

 

Résumés and Other Attachments
We encourage applicants to attach résumés or other information with their application that will assist us in the review and selection process, but such attachments are not required.

 

Screening Applications
Only fully completed applications will be reviewed and evaluated. Application packets that are not complete will be returned to the candidate. Applications are not accepted or processed after the Job Announcement Close By date.

 

Notification
If you are chosen to move forward in the process, you will be notified within 15 days of 1st review by date or job posting end date, whichever is first. Because Housing Kitsap does not have the resources to personally contact each person who applies for employment, only the individuals who most closely match our current needs are contacted. If you are selected as a finalist, you will be contacted by telephone. If you are not selected as a finalist, we encourage you to consider Housing Kitsap for future employment opportunities. Open positions are updated on our website as positions become open.
